House, now offices. Late C18 with late C19 alterations. Sandstone ashlar with slate roofs. Double-depth plan with 2 rear extensions, the one to the right long and narrow, and the one to the left with a 3-sided termination. 2 storeys and attic above cellars, and 4 bays under a wide moulded pediment. The windows are mostly sashed with plain reveals and projecting sills. The 2 left-hand bays on the ground floor have been replaced by a square bay window which has 2 windows facing forwards separated by a mullion, and a cornice and blocking course. Within the pediment is a Diocletian window with Gothick glazing. The doorway, in the 3rd bay, has a stone doorcase with engaged Tuscan columns and a triangular pediment. The door has 6 raised and fielded panels and an overlight. The rear wall includes a Diocletian window at 1st-floor level above a Venetian window. INTERIOR: altered in the later C19 and has a rear stair hall with a stair rising in 3 flights to a balustraded landing and having an open string and turned mahogany balusters.
