House, now shop. c1800, with late C19 and mid C20 alterations. Scored render with painted ashlar dressings. Hipped slate roof. Built on corner site, with 3 storeys, and with 2 bays facing west and 3 bays facing south. The ground floor contains C20 shop fronts, below a cornice remaining from a late C19 timber fascia. The corner above has chamfered quoins. The windows are C20 casements with projecting sills and plain reveals. Chimney on ridge at left of west facade. The building occupies a prominent position at the corner of the Market Square and is listed for group value despite considerable alteration.
