The opening accessible from the Car Parking area on Abbey Mews, allowing viewing of the Water wheel which was originally used for Abbey Corn Mill. In 1837 the mill race originally built by Cistertian monks over 600 years ago was used to power the water wheel for Abbey Corn Mill, the wheel was in use until 1987 and was refurbished in 2003, although is now no longer in use.
