TG 2308 NE THE CLOSE 17/204 5.6.72 No, 36 (Formerly listed as Nos. 36 and 37) GV II* House. Probably C17 and later. Painted flint, brick and stone rubble on ground floor; painted brick above; hipped pantile roof; one red brick chimney (rebuilt) to left. 2 storeys; one window gable-fronted range of sashes with glazing bars and horns. Ground floor window has cambered brick arch. Entered from the right side through panelled (part glazed) door in simple reeded doorcase.
