Description


TG 2308 NE THE CLOSE 17/203 5.6.72 Nos. 35A, 35B and 35C GV II* Former house, now flats. Late Cl7 with C19 extensions to right and rear. Painted brickwork. Plain tiles and pantiles to extensions. At right-angles to street line, 3 storeys. 3 bays. Central door with reeded surround and corner roundels. Stringcourses at floor levels. Sash windows in earlier, smaller openings which had rubbed brick segmental arches at ground and first floors. 3-light casement windows at 2nd floor. Central window openings blocked. Simple cornice. Roof sloping to 2 storeys over rear extension. Fire Insurance plaque on blocked first floor window opening.
