House, formerly a shop, dated 178- on gable, L plan, rear wing earlier. Front: colourwashed brick, pantiles; 3 bays, 2 storeys. 3 sashes with glazing bars to first floor, sash to ground floor bay 3; renewed 6 panelled door to centre bay under semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars, blocked shop windows to left and right; blocked doorway to right. Vehicular archway to first bay; wall between archway and 2nd bay of flint, oak bressumer to rear. Right and left gables of coursed flint with some brick, internal end stacks, that to left starting above archway. Date 178- in brick on right gable. Older rear wing of 2 bays, 2 storeys and attic, rendered flint, steep hipped pantile roof; axial stack abutting rear of front range. North facade: two 2-light casements to ground and first floor, those to ground floor and first floor right with glazing bars. South facade: 1½ storey lean-to in flint and brick under pantiles with glazed lean-to in angle of wing, 3-light casement window to ground and first floor, raking roof dormer. large bay window to first floor of west return. Sash with glazing bars 4 x 4 panes over arch to rear of first bay. Interior: small opening with fixed leaded lights now internal at rear of front range; Large stack to rear wing abutting front range; 3 tier butt purlin roof with collars in pine, some reused ships spars.
