NORTHLEACH WITH THE MARKET PLACE SP 1114 EASTINGTON (north side), Northleach 3/105 Doctors Commons GV II
House in row. Two occupations. Coursed squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof, ashlar stack. C16, facade rebuilt and extensions added at rear c1927. 'L'-shaped main body with later extensions added at rear. 1½ storey, 5-windowed facade. Five, 2- light, stone-mullioned casements with gables over to first floor. Two, 5-light stone-mullioned canted bays with transoms to ground floor. Roof to far right-hand bay extends left to form canopy over C20 four-panel door to left. Three-light stone-mullioned casement with transom and stopped hood to left. C20 panelled garage door far left. C20 door with glazing bars right. Three-light C16 stone-mullioned casement with 4-centred arched heads, carved spandrels and hood retaining one square stop, now party covered by later lean-to at rear. Numerous matching 2 and 3-light windows added at rear c1927. One single light with Tudor-arched head and carved spandrels. Interior; two, flat-chamfered four-centred arched stone doorways. C17 staircase with splat balusters. Possibly reused carved C17 cupboard doors.
