Detached house. Late C17; enlarged mid C19 and 1935. Random and coursed rubble limestone; ashlar and rubble chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic; cross wing at east end. Front: C17 house to left has two C20 restored 2-light mullioned casements under combined hoodmould; medieval 2-light lancet cut from one piece of stone reset in wall to left. Two 3-light upper floor casements with hoodmoulds. Single gabled roof dormer. Ashlar ridge-mounted chimney with chamfered cap indicates original east end of building. C19 one-window extension to right with 3-light ground floor and 2-light upper floor casements, both with hoodmoulds. Gabled porch, half gable and east cross wing all part of 1935 additions in Cotswold style with mullioned casements and moulded oval window in main gable apex. Two-storey canted bay window to east side of cross wing with gable above. West end: single-window fenestration to gable end, 3-light to ground floor, 2-light to upper floor and attic, all with hoodmoulds. Interior not inspected.
