House. Early C19. Red brick; slate roof. Plan is of two parallel ranges, established after addition of north block in mid C19. 2 storeys, south front in 3 bays, the bays separated by brick pilasters. Corner clasping pilasters with block entablatures. Three 6/6 unhorned sashes to each floor, each with rebated cusped canopies and gauged skewback arches. Ground-floor skewback arches cased in lead, upper ones painted. Central lower window replaced former entrance door c1980. Gabled roof with central ridge stack and gable-end stack to east. West return presents two gable ends, both with shaped gables. INTERIOR: stick-baluster staircase with turned newel posts, ramped handrail and scrolled tread-ends.
