HENDERSKELFE SOUTH LAKE SE 7169 (south side) Castle Howard 12/56 Pedestal GV II Pedestal for statue. Mid C19. Sandstone ashlar. Approximately 2 metres high. Stepped base square on plan surmounted by pedestal for statue with moulded concave sides on cushion pad and with moulded cornice. Included for group value. HBMC, Register of Parks and Gardens of special historic interest in England, Part 32, North Yorkshire: Castle Howard, Grade I.
