House and barn range. House dated 1750 with mid C19 alterations to first floor and reroofing. Coursed squared gritstone, purple and stone slates. House: 2 storeys, 4 bays. Quoins. Original door bay 3 with large lintel inscribed "IEP 1750", now blocked; inserted board door with tie-stone jambs to right. Recessed chamfered mullion windows of 3 and 5 lights to left and of 3 lights to right. Recessed chamfered surround to 4-pane sashes to first floor. External steps to first-floor door far right. Gable copings, corniced stack left and between bays 3 and 4. Barn range: 4-bay barn with lower stone-roofed bay and lean-to cart-shed to right. Barn: quoins; bay 3 cart entrance has edge-tooled quoins and segmental arch with keystone; byre doors to left and right in plain surrounds. Shaped kneeler and gable coping right. Lower bay: board door right, external stair to a door immediately above with stone platform to front; blocked pitching door to left. Segmental arch to lean-to cart-shed partly blocked to form a byre door.
