STREATLEY HIGH STREET (south side) SU 5980 10/23 The Thatched Cottage 14.4.67 GV II Cottage. Late C17. Timber framed with angle braces, brick plinth, and rendered infil panels. Thatched roof, half hipped to left, with catslide over C19 outshot to right; 2 gabled eaves dormers with 2-light leaded casements, and central stack behind ridge. 3 framed bays. 1 1/2 storeys. Central 2-light C20 staircase casement. C20 ground floor 3-light casement off-centre to left flanked by two 2-light C20 casements. One-light casement in outshot to right. Boarded door with flat bracketed hood between third and fourth windows from left.
