House, now office. C18 and C19. Timber-framed and rendered with slate half-hipped gambrel roof and stack on west flank. L-plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attics and cellar; 5-window range. 3 flat-roofed dormers, each with 2-light horizontal-sliding casements with central horizontal glazing bar. 1st floor has 5 flush sash windows with moulded surrounds and some old glass. The centre window is deeper and has a shouldered surround with triple keystone and moulded sill with consoles. Ground floor has central doorcase with dentilled cornice, pulvinated frieze, fluted Doric pilasters, triple keystone and rusticated wall surface. Either side there is a flat-roofed segmental bow window with small-paned sashes and thin fluted half-columns. Door has one horizontal panel over 2 raised-and-fielded panels and 2 lower flush panels. Wrought-iron handrails and 2 stone steps. Block at right-angles at rear has half-hipped plain tile roof and 2-light horizontal-sliding casement with cross glazing pattern to attic. 1st floor has a sash window with 6 panes in upper sash and single vertical glazing bar in lower sash. Ground floor has C20 glazed door and side light. 2-storey C19 rear extension in brick with plain tile roof and 2 gabled oriel windows on 1st floor. INTERIOR: 3-unit plan, the centre with open-well staircase with carved tread ends and column-on-vase balusters. From 1st floor to attic the stairs are similar but with shaped tread ends. Walls up to dado level and beneath stairs have raised-and-fielded panelling, and on flank of stairs this is framed between Doric pilasters. 1st-floor east room is fully panelled and has plaster cornice. Other rooms have contemporary doors and architraves and simple plaster cornices. The windows to the western 1st-floor room have internal folding shutters. Door on ground floor of C17 panelling with original ironmongery and fluted frieze over.
