TQ 2980 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER ST JAMES'S PLACE SWl 81/87 24.2.58 No 28 GV II Terrace house. Late C18. Brown brick, slate roof. 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 3 windows wide. Semicircular arched doorway to left, 6-panel door with side lights under delicately patterned fanlight. Recessed glazing bar sash windows under flat gauged arches. Parapet with coping. Geometric patterned wrought iron balcony across lst floor. Wrought iron area railings with twin lampholders and link extinguishers. Once the residence of William Huskisson, M.P. (G.L.C. plaque). Interior has stone staircase with wrought iron balusters, moulded cornices, etc. Survey of London; vol XXX
