MELBOURN HIGH STREET TL 3844 (North west side) 24/154 No. 32 II
House. c.1770. Timber framed, roughcast rendered front wall, plaster rendered rear wall and steeply pitched tiled roof with two internal stacks. Two unequal bays on either side of hall and stair bay. Two storeys and attic. Three C19 flush frame hung sashes with margin lights (similar to those of No. 10 High Street), the heads flush with eaves. Two similar hung sashes on either side of doorway. Inside: Two bays flank narrower hall bay. Some framing in front wall expose . At the rear is a contemporary lean-to dairy and kitchen. In 1842 the house was The Spotted Dog Public House.
