Looking along the walkway in the Accrington Arcade, towards the Church street entrance. Built in 1896 by Edmund Riley a local Market Hall Fishmonger and councillor born in Plantation Square, Accrington. The"Post Office Arcade" was one of the first of its kind in the country, it housed the towns General Post Office from 1896 until 1922.
