Primary school. 1839. Architect - Robert Potter of Lichfield. Coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings. Slate roof with stone ridges. Moulded stone coped gables with large kneelers. Stone gable end, diamond set, stacks. Coved eaves band. Central two bay, two storey gabled section, either side three bay single storey wings. Elizabethan-style. North, street elevation - central doorcase with four centred arch, chamfered surround and flat dripmould over. Studded wooden door. To either side, triple lancet windows under flat labelmould with returned stops. Above, coved stringcourse. To each side, in wings, three similar, but twin, lancet windows. Above in central section, centrally placed 6-light chamfered mullioned and transomed window with large central mullion. Each light with pointed head. Labelmould over. Plaque above inscribed '1839'. Finial at gable top.
