House. Late C16/earIy C17, extended C20. Timber framing with plastered and brick infill and some colourwashed brick; thatch roof with brick gable stack. 2-unit plan, extended. One storey plus attic. Left half of front is timber-framed on a rendered rubble plinth and retains a small leaded 3-light casement; right half is obscured by a 2-storey C20 rendered extension containing present entrance. Left gable wall has a massive rubble chimney projection with the brick shaft rising well away from the gable. Rear is re-built in late C18/early C19 brick and has some segmental- arched leaded casements. Large C20 extension returns on right to rear. Interior: large open fireplace with bread-oven and flanking winder stair; ogee chamfer-stops to beams; clasped purlin roof with queen-strut trusses.
