Semi-detached pair, part of a planned layout. Built in 1919. Ground floor of Ardingly sandstone snecked rubble, first floor timber-framed with close-studding with curved braces. Hipped roof, mainly tiled but two lower courses of Horsham stone slabs. Central tall ribbed stack, mainly of brick but partly sandstone. Two storeys: two windows. Four-light mullions with casements and leaded lights. Ground floor window of number four is longer than that of number three. Side doorcases with flat hoods with brackets and half-glazed doors with 16 panes. A mirror image of numbers 7 and 8 New Cottages.
