PARISH OF UNSTONE BACK ROAD SK 37 NE 6/181 The Farm II Farmhouse. Mid C17 with C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Coursed squared coal measures sandstone with ashlar dressings, quoins, brick gable stacks, plain gables and a slated roof. L-plan house, possible original lobby entrance to south west end, but subsequently altered. South east elevation, two storeys, two bays, with two doorways to centre, early C20, with C20 doors flanked by 4-light chamfer mullioned windows, with 3-light windows to first floor all with C20 casements beneath plain stone dripmoulds. Quoined doorway with massive lintel to south-west end, now blocked. C19 extension at right angles to main range at rear and shallow semi-circular stair tower to centre beneath small pitched lean-to roof.
