House. Mid C18 with late C18 wing incorporating C17 square structure. Diaper brickwork with tiled roof. Earlier structure flint with limestone quoins and narrow brick dressings. 2-storey and attic. 5 bays, with central entrance leading to originally projecting rear stair. Flanking reception rooms. 6-panelled door with semi-circular fanlight under Doric limestone portico. 12- pane sashes with concealed boxes and flat gauged brick heads. Plat band with top moulded lip. Wing with 2-storey canted bay applied over earlier structure; 12-pane sashes with blind boxes to upper floor and blind panelled parapet. Earlier building has moulded water table and blocked windows. The house has been extended left by one bay, incorporating original lean-to. 16-pane sashes and roof hipped at left. Moulded eaves. 3 flat casement dormers to main structure. Right wing extended to rear in early C19, 12-pane sashes with gauged and tumbled heads and parapet. Rear stair tower incorporated in the C19 work has English bond.
