Tudor Cottages

A Grade II Listed Building in Sibton, Suffolk

1 & 2 Tudor Cottages

Uploader's Comments

A view from the garden of 2 Tudor Cottage showing both cottages that once constituted a single farmhouse and at another time a laundry for the Estate. The one common chimney marks the separation having stairs to either side of the inglenook; an end chimney on No.2 was removed due to being unsound. No.1 has a brick built rear kitchen with bedroom above and an annex that houses a bathroom. A common brick built shed housed the outside earth toilets and also has small low openings that may have been to allow access for animals such as pigs. Both cottages face Park Farm and in recent memory were rented from the Sibton Park Estate but are now in private ownership (2026).
