Mid 19th century 3-storey corner tenement with classical
details; horizontal glazing pattern (sash windows)
mostly retained; 3-bay end to Shields Road; stone-
cleaned polished ashlar, channelled at ground, single
windows above are architraved; single bay to each
elevation has recessed canted window set over projecting
square bay; some pilastered mullions, inset pilasters to
close doors. Wall-head and axial stacks; modern tile
roof.
Tenement was extended to E later in 19th century by 4
tenement closes (nos 336-352), original details
reproduced including unusual canted windows, but glazing
altered except at one flat.
