Mid 19th century. Row of single-storey cottages. Red sandstone rubble with dressed margins.
12-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roofs. Gable and ridge stacks.
This row of little externally altered cottages form part of row of single-storey cottages, and are a significant addition to the streetscape of the area.
Nos 3 and 4 Kirkstyle have been converted to form St Vigeans Museum, and are in the ownership of Scottish Ministers. They house a number of carved Pictish stones, which are Properties in Care.
