Three houses, now two shops and two flats. C18 with C19 and C20 alteration. Whitened roughcast on brick with painted quoins; slate roof with coped gables, massive external stack at left and large central ridge stack. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; 6-window front, with 2-bay wing set back at left. Ground floor occupied by three shop fronts, each with moulded cornice, that to No.17 returned at right end. On first and attic floors, windows in centre are of uPVC; the two on each side are 6/6 sashes; attic windows are in gabled half-dormers. All window openings are quoined and have painted stone sills and lintels. Raised attic band. Left return has a 6-panel door with bead and flush lower panels and raised and fielded panels above in set back wing to north-east. Right return has a fully glazed door and sash windows on upper floors. INTERIOR: exposed floor beams and a staircase with turned balusters.
