PERSHORE

House and shop. Mid-late C18 with later alterations. Painted brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof with brick dentilled eaves. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 3-window range. Windows have projecting sills and on 2nd floor are smaller with C20 3/6-pane top-hung casements, that to centre blocked; on 1st floor, horned boxed 6/6 sashes below gauged brick flat arches. Two iron ties. Ground floor: full-width bracketed wooden hood; central remodelled shop bay-window with C20 plate glazing and cellar grille below; to left, paired doorcases with wooden architraves, overlights, stone steps, part-glazed panelled door on right and 8-panel door on left, the latter giving access to No.26 (qv). On right, passage entrance has wooden architrave, wrought-iron gate, timber lintel behind and wide square-panelled timber-framing visible in passage wall. INTERIOR: not inspected.
