House, now church house and school. c1835. Brick in Flemish bond; stucco facing and storey band to ground floor. Gable facing roofs of slate. PLAN: unusual cross plan with 2-storey arms on an axis perpendicular to the street and 3-storey "transepts" on axis parallel to the street. EXTERIOR: up stairs to entrance in Elm Grove elevation which has a 2-window range; rebated corners; one-window range returns. Projecting eaves. Transept wings have segmental bay, treated as banded rustication, with one tripartite window, its sashes of an original design; main face of each transept of one-window range. Projecting eaves to transept gable roof. Rear arm is similar in arrangement to that which holds the main entrance. Stacks to peak of front gable and centre ridge of transepts. Several windows with 6x6 sashes of an original design. INTERIOR: not inspected.
