SCARISBRICK SOUTHPORT ROAD, Pinfold SD 31 SE 8/44 - Mill House - II

House. Dated 1804 at 1st floor, extended. Coursed squared sandstone and brick, tiled roof. Originally 2 bays, with 3rd bay added at left end. Two storeys, originally almost symmetrical; round-headed doorway offset left of centre with imposts and keystone; 2 rectangular windows on each floor, all new 2-light casements, with straight sills and splayed stone heads; at 1st floor over the door a raised quatrefoil with inscribed date "1804". Single bay addition to left, of less interest, with gable chimney.
