HOLBEACH LAPWATER ROAD TF 33 SE (east side)

3/69 Leaden Hall (formerly listed under Penny Hill) 30.6.66 II

House. Mid C18, remodelled early C19. Red brick with some render and painted ashlar dressings. Slate roof with brick coped gables and moulded eaves topped by parapet with dentillated band. 2 C19 gable stacks. 2 storeys with basement and attic. 3 bay front with central bay projecting slightly and topped with a pediment. Rendered basement. 4 steps lead up to a central doorway with pilastered doorcase with dosserets supporting open modillioned pediment, reveal, traceried fanlight and panelled door. Doorway flanked by single, canted, 2 storey bays, the basement with single 2 light casements flanking steps, with segmental heads; above are single tripartite glazing bar sashes to each floor with painted stucco wedge lintels. Semi-circular headed window over the doorway with glazing bar sash with intersecting traceried head. Single circular window in the pediment with moulded architrave and radiating spokes. Attic with 2 dormers with segmental heads and 2 light casements.
