12/1 Corner Cottage and garage

GV II

House and forge, now house and garage. C17 with early C19 remodelling. Painted coursed rubble with ashlar quoins, extended in painted brick; tile roof, hipped over forge to left. Ridge stacks with diamond shafts. One storey with attic lit by three 2-light casements in brick gables. Ground floor has three 2-light casements. The entrances between have Tudor arches to recesses containing ledged and boarded C19 doors.
