LOWER ALLITHWAITE BARN GARTH SD 3878 (East side) Cartmel 8/30 Hazeldene G.V. II House. Probably mid to late C18. Roughcast stone and slate roof; quoins. 2 storeys, 2 bays, central entrance plan. Windows are sashed with glazing bars. Entrance has bracketed flat canopy and 6-fielded-panel door, 2 panels glazed. Gable-end stack and cross-axial stack. Left return has 1st floor sashes and garage entrance to ground floor.
