BARNETBY LE WOLD CHURCH HILL TA 00 NE (north side) 9/2 Carramore - II House. Early - mid C18 west wing, early C19 south wing, later C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Brick, whitewashed; slate roof. Rectangular on plan: C18 2-room central entrance-hall west wing with C19 2-room central entrance-hall south wing (entrance now blocked) and later C19 2-room infill in angle; C20 main entrance to rear. West front: 2-storeys, 3 first-floor windows. C20 door in glazed porch flanked by 16-pane sashes in flush wooden architraves beneath segmental arches. First floor: 2 unequal 12-pane sashes and one 12-pane casement in flush wooden architraves with lintels at eaves level. Stepped and dentilled brick eaves cornice. Roof hipped to right. Large axial stack to right, end-stack to left. Right return forms south front, facing street: 2 storeys, 3 bays. C20 16-pane casement in blocked entrance beneath keyed stucco flat arch, flanked by 16-pane sash to left in flush wooden architrave beneath similar arch, and late C19 flat-roofed canted wooden bay window to right with plate glass sashes, pilasters and dentilled cornice. First floor: similar 16-pane sashes to side bays, unequal 12-pane central sash. End stack to right.
