Description


KEMBLE EWEN SU 09 NW 8/58 Brooklands Farmhouse II Farmhouse, formerly 2 adjoining cottages. Probably late C17 to right and early C18 to left. Rubble stone, artificial stone slate roof, brick end stacks. Single range of 2 storeys and attic with small lean-to to left and larger C20 lean-to to right. Right-hand side has 3-light stone mullion in flush stone surround to first and ground floors. Left-hand side has 2-light wood mullion to first floor, 3-light to ground floor, with timber lintels. Central projecting C20 gabled stone porch. Single gabled dormer to right.
