Detached house. Late C16; late C18 alterations. Random rubble limestone, roughcast to front; rubble chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic; single-storey rear wing with cellar. Front: 2 parapet gables with linking parapet between. Three- window fenestration, all late C18 mullioned casements with ogee heads; decorative leading to heads of casements. Three-light outer windows to ground and upper floors, 2-light at centre to upper floor, 2-light to attic. Central doorway with projecting pedimented porch hood on short lengths of entablature with fluted columns and pilaster responds; 6-panel door with blocked fanlight. Rear: central parapet gable with single-window fenestration, 3- light to upper floor, 2-light to attic, both chamfered mullioned with hoods. Glazed door below in opening with part of hoodmould disappearing behind later addition to right. Doorway with original heavy plank door to left. Single-window fenestration beyond to left, 2-light to each floor. Wing projects forward to right with projecting gable end chimney. C19 casement on south side of wing; cellar plank door on north side with casement to left under combined timber lintel. Interior: upper floor room has small cupboard with carved Jacobean door; fleur-de-lys plasterwork on window splays. Turned balusters to dog leg staircase. Plank and muntin partitions. (N.M.
