School. 1854 by G.F. Bodley. Coursed and squared limestone; ashlar chimneys; concrete tile roof. Gothic revival style. Single-storey; irregular plan, basically L-shaped with lower additional range to rear. East front: gable end of wing projecting forward to right is unequal as it incorporates catslide- extension to right over pointed arched doorway. Large mullioned and transomed window with trefoil heads and coloured tile pattern in large tympanum above. Two and 3-light windows to south side of wing; two 2-light to main range to left, all with trefoil heads. Tall eaves-mounted chimney set between fenestration has partly corbelled base, part extending down as buttress with battered plinth. Gabled porch projecting forward to left has segmental arched doorway with large trefoil tympanum recess above. Battered plinth to porch sides below simple moulding South end: gable end with large plate-tracered pointed window. Lower wing projects on west side. Interior not inspected. One of Bodley's first executed designs.
