Shops and cafe with flats above and end house. Late C18 with C19 and C20 ground floor alterations. Incised painted stucco and rendered walls with ashlar quoins, green slate roof, C20 brick and stucco chimney stacks. 3 storeys, 2 bays each. No 1 retains its early C20 butcher's shop facade. C20 shop windows and entrances to Nos 2, 3 and 4. No 5 retains its early C19 shop window with glazing bars and top-glazed 6-panel door, but now a house. Upper floors have sash windows with and without glazing bars.
