St Peter: late c15 or early c16 church with later additions reflecting the character of Sabine Baring-Gould (1834-1924); set in wooded valley close to Lew Manor

St Peter: rood screen complete with rood loft, 1889-1915, by Violet Pinwell based on one destroyed by Baring Gould's grandfather in 1833
