Rendered projecting gable end stacks with heightened shafts; right hand stack is now an axial stack within the right hand extension. Plan: Two room plan cottage with central entrance probably into cross-passage originally. The larger left hand room was probably the kitched and the right hand room the parlour, both rooms heated by gable end fireplaces. Later C18 or C19 outshut at rear containing small unheated service rooms. Outbuilding possibly stables added at right end, now containing garage with rooms in loft above. Exterior: Two storeys. 3 plus 3 window range, the left hand 3 windows is the original house and has doorway to right of centre with late C20 porch. Garage doors to centre of right hand addition with large timber lintel. All C20 two-light casements with glazing bars. Interior: Roof of the original house has slightly cambered collars lapped and pegged to the face of the principal rafters, the common rafters have been replaced. Partition between former passage and parlour to right has been removed. Fireplaces have been altered and stairs moved into rear outshut.
