House, Mid to late C15 and C17. Timber framed and plastered and of 'L' shaped plan form, with 2 storey wing at W. end and 1 storey with attics extension at E side. The W wing has a gabled asbestos slate roof, C20 decorative bargeboards and an extension bay at the S with a peg tile gabled roof. The E section has a peg tile gabled roof with 2 gabled dormers and a substantial square brick stack, through its roof and against the E flank of the wing. C20 pargetting and a bow window and hipped lean-to extension on W. flank. Windows are mixture of C19 and C20 casements. Interior reveals a 3 bay floored mid-late C15 floored 'end jetty' house with the structure underbuilt on the front but very complete. Simple but massive crown post roof, jowled posts, cambered tie beams, halved and bridled scarf joists and soffit tennoned floor joists. The E side appears to have featured an open arcade to a contemporary flank lean-to along the 2 front bays. Inglenook fireplace facing E and later wing on this side has nominal timber framing of probable C17.
