Rectangular plan plus large porch to centre of front and later lean-to at far right of front plus lean-to at rear opposite. Front has large central porch with large original round-arched doorway with ball stops; later window above; original outshut with small window to right of porch, later outshut to left; 3 buttresses to main barn front left of porch; window and altered doorway right of porch. Right-hand return has large loading doorway from bank, now blocked. Left hand return is buttressed and has enlarged central window over window. Buttressed rear has 2 original chamfered slit ventilators, now blocked. INTERIOR: has C20 partitions; roof structure not inspected but may be of interest. A very early surviving farm building in this region, converted from a conventional threshing barn into a bank barn in the late C18/early C19.
