Formerly Inn, now shop. Rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. Mid C18. Three storeys, three bays. Central entrance with shell hood over door and moulded architrave. Flanking shop windows c.1970s. First and second floor windows have moulded architraves and sashes without glazing bars. Modillioned eaves. Fluted rainwater heads flank central window enscribed I B [John Birbeck] 1777. Late C19 glazed dormer. Two ridge stacks. Forms a continuous range with Sidwell's (q.v.). Reputed to be part of former Golden Lion Inn.
