Cottage with stable adjoining to right. 2 separate builds: Probably late C17/early C18. Coursed, squared rubble with quoins. 45° pitch to graduated slate roof. 2 storeys (with cellar to house); 4 bays overall. 3-bay house has central part-glazed door with C20 casement to left and 2-light stone-mullioned window to right; two C20 casements above and long stair window, with glazing bars, between floors. Single-bay stable has plank door in doorcase with false 4-centred head; small casement to right and large casement above. Cavetto eaves moulding to house extended across stable. Brick end chimneys to house, ball finial to gable end of stable. Stone surrounds to all openings. House interior: Late C17 and early C18 panelled doors throughout; original beams. Plank and muntin infill to side of stairs. Stair (wood over stone) rises from cellar to attic; cut string with turned spindles, moulded handrail, and square newels, to upper flights. Cupboards to either side of fireplace in ground-floor room at rear; wardrobes built into partition walls upstairs. Subdivided cellar has segmental barrel vault; large attic, said to have been used as granary, has 2 numbered king-post trusses with queen struts. Interior of stable retains original stop-chamfered stall partitions.
