Detached house. Mid-late C17; enlarged mid C18 and early Cl9. Random and coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; Welsh slate roof. Two-storey with attic and cellar. West front: earliest part of house to right with doorway having pointed stone lintel, hoodmould stepping over linked to 3-light mullioned casement to right; two 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned upper floor casements with combining hoodmould. Roof eaves level raised in coursed rubble; large central raking roof dormer with timber casement. Later addition to left has upper floor level doorway, 2- light window to right with zig-zag stone head and hoodmould. East side: original gable ends indicated by ridge-mounted and 2 tall eaves-mounted chimneys, some with moulded caps. Two upper floor 2- light casements with hoodmoulds, one with Gothic leading. Ends: south gable end has off-centre ground floor 12-pane sash with keyed moulded architrave and bull-nosed sill; 2-light cellar casement below. Two attic casements, one recessed chamfered 2-light, other timber with leaded iron casement and timber lintel. North gable end built against high-level road. Attic level plank door with timber lintel. Interior not inspected.
