2. C17 timber-frame front range, rendered and remodelled in 1871. Steep pantile roof with gabled ends with shaped and pierced barge boards. Two storeys and attic. Five window bays. C19 sashes. Centre bay projects with shaped gable with finial, panelled door and 3-light mullion/transom first floor window, cornice with strapwork frieze above doorway. To left and right the ground floor projects in painted brick. Large mid C19 plastered and painted brick wings at rear, hipped slate roofs and sash windows. Interior of C17 front range, ceiling beams with ovolo moulded chamfers and carved stops.
