GV II House. Early C18 in origin, remodelled and extended early-mid C19. Coursed rubble limestone, the front roughcast with ashlar quoins and window dressings and coved plaster eaves. Stone slate roofs, ashlar ridge chimneys with moulded cornices. 2 storeys and attic, 7 bays, the left bay probably a C19 extension. Early-mid C19 fenestration, all windows in raised stone surrounds with beaded edges, depressed arches and keyblocks. Lower windows are 2-pane sashes; upper windows altered to wooden cross casements. 3 gabled roof dormers with small boxed sashes. Bay 6 has early-mid C19 4-panelled door with ornamental semi-circular fanlight, all in contemporary stone doorcase with open pediment on Doric columns. Small single-storey extension to right end. Rear much extended C19 to give triple depth plan. Right side has gabled outer bays and small gabled projection to centre. Centre and right bays have 2-storey bay windows with gothick glazing, the right bay with battlemented parapet. Interior remodelled early-mid C19, with central circular stair well. This has delicately reeded arched doorways and niches, and stair with stick balusters.
