GV II
Barn, late C18 or early C19, timber-framed, weatherboarded, on stone plinth, tiled roof. 3-bay barn with central threshing floor. Fairly high rubble stone plinth, boarded walls above: on back weatherboarding replaced with butt-jointed, on gable corrugated iron. Central double doors rise to just short of eaves with cambered timber lintel: wall framing largely unaltered, 2-panels high with tension braces. To one side of threshing floor is a timber sill with tension braces to door posts: ends of sill later cut away for access. Threshing floor stone paved. Trusses have angle struts and collar, two pairs purlins and a square ridge; wind-bracing on the end bays. Included for group value.
