2 chest combs; 1781 and 1769; stone. Southern, flat lid, plain moulded edge, quarter square corner balusters carved with square scrolls and leaves. South side narrow top margin, with main central part flanked by narrow rectangular ends: centre head with wings at top, rococo scrolls around panel. End panels pendant rings with flowers below. Ends rectangular panels with rococo scrolling around edge. To Mary Harper, died 1781, long s used in inscription: inscription to Thomas Harper, her husband, died 1785, added. Record of children dying before parents on end. Later inscriptions on lid. Adjoining, immediately to north, flat lid, plain moulded edge; north face as south of Mary Harper monument, but with flowers and ribbon edging to main central panel rather than scrolls. Quarter square gadrooned balusters at corners; ends serpent of eternity around an hourglass, fronds above, feathers to sides, further carving as stand below. To John, son of Thomas Harper, died 1769. Adjacent faces of monuments not inspected.
