Cemetery Lodge. Dated 1871. By Medland of Gloucester, built by W Hinton of Cirencester. Rock-faced limestone with ashlar dressings; clay tile roofs; ashlar lateral stack with moulded top to left side, stone stack on gable end to rear, stone stack to rear of single-storey wing with top rebuilt in concrete blockwork. Single-storey and attic to left, gable facing, projecting single-storey wing to right, C20 additions to left side and rear. Single-storey and attic, 2-window range. Ground floor has one 3-light chamfered stone mullion window with C19 iron casements and hoodmould with foliar stops and relieving arch to left, 2-light chamfered stone mullion window with C19 iron casements in single-storey wing to right. Gabled porch in angle of 2 ranges has pointed plank door with decorative strap hinges and C19 knocker in moulded stone surround with hoodmould with foliar stops. Attic to left has one 2-light chamfered stone mullion window with cusped headed lights, C19 iron casements; recessed panel above windows has date in relief 1871, under hoodmould with foliar stops. Plinth with chamfered top, flush quoins to angles. Trefoil opening in gable to left; gable and porch have weathered copings with trefoil finials. End of single-storey wing to right has canted bay with 3 lancet windows with cusped heads, C19 casements, moulded cill band and corniced, weathered ashlar hood. INTERIOR not inspected.
