House. C17 or earlier, altered in C17 and early C19, extended in 1880's on W. Timber frame with roughcast E gable apex but rest of house cased in red or grey brick by stages. Steep red tiled roofs. C19 half-timber W extension. Built as an L-plan house of 2 storeys and attics facing S with a 2 storeys rear wing at NE and a large 6-flue chimney at the junction of the wings with engaged diagonal shafts. C19 red brick 2-storeys gabled wing added at NW and a half timbered 2 storeys range in the middle of the W side. The E gable of the older S range has 2 storeys of C17 red brickwork in English-bond with raised floorband and segmental arches to flush box sash windows (C19 sashes). 2-light casement window to attic. 3 windows wide S front faced in grey brick with flush box sash windows with 6/6 panes and segmental arches. Roughcast gabled porch under RH window with round headed glazed door. Rear wing cased in C19 red brick with corner pilasters.
