Description


TUR LANGTON SP79 SW HIGH STREET (North Side) 7/103 Langton House II House. Early C19. Rendered brick and Swithland slate roof with rendered brick end stacks. Wooden bracketted eaves cornice. 3 storeys of 3 8/8 sash windows with stone cornices on carved consoles. 3 4/8 sashes on 2nd floor. 4 giant pilaster strips. Central wooden doorcase with pilasters and entablature. 6-panelled door and fanlight with fine glazing bars. Late C19 rectangular bay to left. 7-lights and canted corners. On left end a 2 storey wing with an 8/8 sash both floors. 2 storey wing to rear.
